Kadai Paneer
Ingredients
1 cup Paneer cubes
2 onions
1 tomato
1 Capsicum/ bell pepper
2 green chillies
1tsp ginger
2tsp Chilli powder
1tsp Coriander powder/dhaniya powder
½ tsp turmeric powder
½ tsp Garam masala
Pinch of Kasoori methi
1tsp Coriander seeds/Dhaniya
1tsp Cumin seeds/seeragam/jeera
Salt
Oil
How I made It
- Chop onions,tomatoes and capsicum into equal cubes. Either grate the ginger or chop it finely. Keep aside
- In a pan heat oil and add coriander and cumin seeds. Once it splutters off add the grated ginger.
- Then add the chopped onions till it turns out transparent. Add green chillies and give a quick fry.
- Now add tomatoes followed by chilli powder, coriander powder, and turmeric powder.
- Then add the cubed capsicum (add different colors of capsicum). Try to maintain the crunchiness of the capsicum. Now add paneer cubes, mix well.
- Just sprinkle some water to mix the masalas along with paneer cubes.
- Add kasoori methi and garam masala at the end. Garnish with coriander leaves. Serve hot with rotis.
