Paneer Alfredo Pasta
The most awaited recipe….hmm
yeah its paneer alfredo pasta... This is my version of alfredo pasta :P
We usually have a love
towards alfredo sauce. TH and I like to have pasta from domino's.
One fine day i thought to try it out at home and the results came out pretty
good. Just to make it as an indianized version i have made some changes and added
few more ingredients. Here it goes...
Prepartion time: 30 minutes
Cooking time : 10-15 minutes
Ingredients:
½ cup Paneer Cubes
2 tsp Corn flour
1tsp Rice flour
2 tsp Corn flour
1tsp Rice flour
1pk Penne pasta
1 Onion
2-3 Green chillies
Pepper Powder (optional)
2-3 Green chillies
Pepper Powder (optional)
Alfredo sauce
Olive OilSalt
How I Made It
Cook pasta with 2-3drops of olive oil and a pinch of
salt in hot water. Cook till the pasta becomes soft. Drain the excess water and
keep aside.
Mix
Corn flour and rice flour with paneer by
sprinkling water onto it. Make sure the flours coats the paneer cubes well. Leave the mixture for sometime. Place a pan with little of oil and shallow fry the paneer cubes. Keep
aside.
In
a kadai/pan heat oil and fry onions and greenchillies. Add pepper powder at this time(optional). Once it is done add the
cooked pasta and mixwell.
Then add the shallow-fried paneer cubes. Finally add the
alfredo sauce.
Completely mix the sauce with pasta and serve.
PS: I even tried the same recipe with mushrooms. Since mushrooms already have watery-content in it there is no need to sprinkle water in-order to mix with the flour.
