Oats Dosa

Oats Dosa

Preparation time: half an hour
Cooking time: 2-3 minutes

Ingredients

1 cup Oats (I used quaker oats)
1 cup Rava
½ cup wheat flour
½ cup rice flour
1 small sized onion
2 green chillies(avoid, if serving for kids)
1tsp cumin seeds
Few coriander leaves
Salt
Oil

How to make it

  • In a pan dry roast both oats and rava separately and keep aside.
  • Once cooled to room temperature, mix oats and rava together along with wheat and rice flour.

  • Either give a quick fry of onions, green chillies with cumin seeds or add to the flour as such.

  • Make a thin batter by adding water to it. . Add salt as needed.

  • Keep for half an hour. Heat the tawa and make dosa with little oil.

  • Cook in medium flame till it becomes golden brown. Don’t flip the dosa to the other side.
  • Serve hot with any chutney of choice or simply idli milagai podi.
