Lobster Pepper Fry - Step by Step



Preparation time: 75 mins (includes the marination period)
Cooking time : 10 mins

Ingredients

Lobster tail – 1
1 onion finely chopped
2 tomatoes
1 tsp ginger-garlic paste
1 ½ tsp turmeric powder
1tsp chilli powder
2 tsp coriander powder
1 ¼ tsp freshly ground pepper powder
Salt
½ tsp Lime juice
Oil
Coriander leaves – to garnish

How to make it

  •  Separate the shell of the lobster tail using a sharp scissor. Cut open the shell and the leg part of it. Take out only the flesh.

  • Make medium-sized cube of the flesh. Wash with clean water and also wash by adding turmeric powder in it.
  • Drain the excess water and add half of ginger-garlic paster, chilli powder, coriander powder and turmeric powder. Marinate the flesh in this masala along with little of salt and lime juice.
  • Marinate for an hour.

  • In a pan heat oil and fry onions till golden brown, followed by ginger-garlic paste. Fry till the raw smell goes off.
  • Add chilli powder, coriander powder and turmeric powder and sauté.

  • Add the chopped tomatoes and salt.Cook further.

  • Next add the marinated lobster flesh. Sprinkle little water to cook the flesh. It takes around 3-4 mins to cook.

  • Once it is cooked, add the freshly ground pepper and garnish with coriander leaves.

  • Serve hot with steamed rice.
