How to make Schezwan Sauce | Schezwan Vegetable Fried Rice Recipe | Indo-Chinese Recipes

I’m a great fan of Siracha Chilli sauces and I use it in all my Indochinese recipes for sure and that highlights the dish very good. Now, I find their sauces very rarely in the markets because of their shut down issues. So I thought of making it at home and gave a try in making schezwan sauce. It was a big hit. I dint use any preservatives or vinegar for longer storage, so used it on the same day by making Gobi Manchurian. Serving Schezwan fried rice along with Gobi Manchurian was a great idea though.
Here I have the recipe for How to make Schezwan sauce and also how to make Schezwan Fried rice. I used the same recipe as like Chicken Fried rice and the only difference is using Home-made Schezwan Sauces.

Follow Egg fried rice recipe for how to cook rice for making Fried rice. I do have some Step wise pictures in the link to follow. Try this and let me know about the comments and suggestions.

Restaurant-Style Chinese Noodle Recipe | Indo-Chinese Noodle Recipe | Easy Veg Chinese Noodles

Chinese items are something which I always crave to eat outside. Who else will not like??!! They are extremely delicious and in the same way they also use MSG and vinegar which is not recommended for health. I started making it at home and finalized with the recipe. I hope you all remember the Chicken fried Rice Recipe which I shared long before. The recipe is applicable for this too.

I used the sauces which are store bought and even the noodle pack from a local Chinese shop. The trick is to follow the pack instruction correctly to get the long no-mess noodle. I had given the hyperlink for the sauce I had used in the recipe. To give a special touch, I use Anaheim peppers and I loved the taste of it along with the noodle. Never allow the veggies to be soggy. Make sure the flame is high and the veggies remain crunchy. Also add enough of oil to avoid burning of the veggies and chillies in the bottom. A wide open wok will help to do the job best. You need real patience to chop the veggies, else chop them nicely in a chopper. Don’t start with the recipe, unless you are ready with the veggies. Chicken Manchurian | Indo-Chinese Manchurian Recipe with Step-by-Step Pics

Here comes my next chicken recipe for the weekend special ~:>. Manchurian has been my very first dish which I tried at home on amma’s guidance. I got the recipe from one of my fren and tried at my home. Amma helped me in deep frying the chicken and all that. She never allowed me to play with hazardous in the kitchen… Soooo caring she seems to be :x… but now I don’t have any option. I need to take care of myself, :( uhhhf!!!

My first dish was a great success and I passed some to my aunt’s place and she was amazed on seeing me doing all this :O...I don’t know wat wonder!!! They loved the dish and my uncle cleaned and wiped off the box and returned back for some more =P~

You can use cauliflower or paneer to make a veggie version of Manchurian. I served it with Egg Fried Rice and Chicken 65 (recipe soon).

Garlic Chicken Recipe | Indo-Chinese Recipe

Chicken and Fish comes to my mind whenever I think for the menu on every Sundays. And usually it will be Fish fry or gravy, chicken gravy or fry when comes to the recipe. These routine recipes got to a boredom stage and the idea  of making Garlic chicken struck me when we had an outing and the friend of us prepared this garlic chicken. He made the chicken to perfection and it was really sooper soft and awesome. =P~ And yeah, I mentioned here “HE” isn’t it???… That’s not a typo. The rule for the outing is all the guys should prepare their favorite dish… and he was so kind enough to make two dishes for us…*smile* TH prepared Egg Fried Rice by himself and obviously I guided him for chopping the veggies and for the preparation things. Don’t ask the story about the mess up of kitchen after that … wofff!!! :((Egg fried rice along with the Garlic chicken was the highlight that day… Good old days!!!:( hmmmm

Here comes the recipe for the delicious Garlic Chicken…  Check out other Indo-Chinese recipes.

Chicken Fried Rice Recipe | Indo-Chinese Recipe

I already have a post on Eggfried rice which I learnt from my mom. Later I just tried the same recipe with chicken and it came out really well. TH being a chicken addict loves it. I make it twice in a month at least.

In this recipe I used Soy sauce and chilli sauce which are store bought. I followed the same procedure as I did for egg fried rice except adding this chilli sauce. The color of the rice is also because of the sauce. Adding tomato ketchup to the recipe is an optional, since I don’t like the flavor of it I skipped adding it. Using vegetables is also purely optional.

Chilli Chicken | Indo-Chinese Recipe

Ah… wat to say about this yummy-looking chicken. *smile*Nowadays am becoming crazy on chilli chicken. We mostly buy chilli chicken from the near-by Indian restaurant to accompany the plain brown rice and I came to know in most hotels they add MSG. This insisted me to try this at home on a Sunday, without adding MSG. Instead of deep frying I patiently shallow fried the chicken pieces. I served it with Jeera Rice.

Chilli Paneer Recipe - Dry Version

Chilli Paneer Recipe - Dry Version

I am an addictive personality of paneer. *smile* I knew it has high protein and fat in it but still can’t control eating it. :-D Very often I make paneer side-dishes for chapathis. TH loves Kadai paneer so much and I wanted to make some different out of paneer. Last week we had chilli chicken in the nearby Indian restaurant and it was awesome. I wanted to make it at home. I had some left over paneer cubes in my fridge, so replaced chicken with paneer *smile* This time we had with jeera rice instead with the usual chapathi *smile*

EGG FRIED RICE

EGG FRIED RICE

I ve tasted fried rice in most restaurants in Chennai. But I still feel the awesomeness of fast-food egg fried rice….  They ve a spl flavor for the dish… As you all know in fast foods they add vinegar and MSG to enhance the taste. Here is the recipe to do fried rice WITHOUT MSG AND VINEGAR but still it has the taste as like a fast-food.

Source of this recipe is from my amma. You can actually modify the recipe for chicken or mushroom fried rice by adding the ingredients, taking the base as an example.

Hope you enjoy doing it.  Share your comments if you like it or any suggestions to do with...
